Ho'oponopono - Making Room For Manifestation by Diane Richard

Expert Author Diane Richard
As a life coach who assists others in coming into their full empowerment, I can't express enough the importance of release work and soul integration. If you are consciously or unconsciously holding onto old habits of thought; old habits of being that no longer serve you, you are actually blocking or slowing down the flow of Source Energy, keeping yourself from experiencing your wholeness. But by paying attention to this resistance and acknowledging first that it is there, you can begin to release those negative patterns as they are "showcased" in your life experience.
There are many ways to release resistance when you know what the resistance is about, but what about those times when you feel a nagging sense that something is amiss but you can't quite put your finger on why it is so? The heaviness of this resistance can leave you feeling lethargic for days and the idea of doing affirmations, meditations, or visualizations seems exhausting.
This is a perfect time for Ho'oponopono.
Ho'oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian cleansing process reintroduced by Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona, Kahuna Lapa'au who shared it with Dr. Hew Len in the '80's. The Ho'oponopono process helps you to "problem solve" without having to know what has created the malaise that you are feeling! Teachers of this tradition recognize that the soul does not generate its own ideas, thoughts, feelings and actions. This explains why it can be so difficult to rise above negative emotions no matter how hard you try!
If you are receiving or operating from Divine Inspiration then you are living in bliss. If you are not receiving or operating from Divine Inspiration it is because both the conscious and subconscious minds are continually replaying or mimicking the memories of the soul and behave according to those memories. Our life experiences, therefore, are not random situations being tossed at us but are the effects of, or result of, memories replaying in the subconscious mind; memories you don't even know you have that actually prevent the manifestation of inspirations. To transform these renegade memories, the conscious mind can initiate the Ho'oponopono process by taking responsibility for having gathered the data to begin with while sending a "petition" to Divine Intelligence requesting transmutation.
In order for the soul to be inspired by Divine Intelligence, incessant cleansing of old memories is necessary. When memories are cleansed once and for all, Divine Inspiration can move in. To do this requires the desire to make amends (repentance), forgiveness for having misused Source Energy, and loving appreciation for those memories and the opportunity to free them, yourself and those you have unwittingly held in bondage in the process. Why should we be grateful for memories or situations that are less than ideal? Think of it this way, Source Energy is absolute unconditional love...that is the only expression Source Energy offers. It is we who use labels such as good, bad, right, wrong. Judgment creates more judgment; love creates more love. When you are opening up to receive unconditional love then you, also, must offer unconditional love; that is, love without conditions or total acceptance of all that is, including unconditional love for yourself, the one who created those "memorable" experiences from thought to begin with. Look at every situation, at every breath, as an opportunity to love or an opportunity to heal; often you'll find they are one in the same. By using the Ho'oponopono process you are cleansing your memories, and therefore your experience, with love.
Here are the words we use with Ho'oponopono, expressed with sincerity and love:
"I'm sorry; please forgive me; I thank you; I love you."
It's that simple. Repeat this throughout the day; all day every day and drink lots of water to flush the toxins from the body. The release you'll feel is absolutely incredible and palpable, especially if you end the day with a meditation that opens your heart to healing and unconditional love. If you want to experience the full beauty of this prayer I also highly recommend the Ho'oponopono song by Aman, Hanayo and Susan Osborn. This song is available on I-tunes or you can do a search for Ho'oponopono on YouTube.
