Celebrate Today - It's the Ho'oponopono Way by Mabel Katz

Why is it easier to celebrate other people's achievements than our own? We don't know how to acknowledge or be thankful for our own accomplishments. Notice the energy and enthusiasm we put into spectator sports. In these instances, we forget all about our problems and concerns and celebrate with a passion.
According to the ancient Hawaiian problem solving art of Ho'oponopono, everything in our life is a blessing, a gift, another chance to make things right, to make amends. We should celebrate each daily accomplishment, no matter how insignificant it may seem, the same way we celebrate each point scored by our favorite team.
It's important to realize that each moment is precious. Even when things don't go the way we want, each moment is an opportunity overflowing with infinite possibilities. In order to receive these, all we need to do is open our hearts.
Success is not destiny but a process, the road we travel with each step we take. When we see our favorite player and think, "He's so lucky!" We forget the work, concentration and sacrifice behind his reality. It is very important to concentrate on what we wish to achieve, but essential to discover our identity and true talents. Everything depends on us and the options we choose. The worst we can do is worry and react. To be distressed wastes the precious energy we need to achieve our goals.
Ho'oponopono provides us with simple guidelines to achieve this. The fundamental concept of Ho'oponopono is that our reality is the sum of things we believe and attract to our lives through the thoughts we endlessly repeat in our minds, both consciously and subconsciously.
If we wish to score many goals in our life and do it easily, we must accept that concept. Although sometimes it may not seem so, everything is an opportunity to say "thank you" and "let go," so that part of us that knows better can take care of them.
We can achieve this by constantly working to clean our repetitive programs and thoughts that are controlling us all the time. But how do we do this? Cleaning millions of thoughts that replay continuously in our subconscious mind cannot be done by conscious will alone. We need help and that help is inside us. Stop asking the wrong questions and looking in the wrong places.
Gratitude is a very powerful tool to score the goal. Saying "Thank you" allows the part of us that knows what's perfect and correct for us to take charge and work things out. We must concentrate and not allow criticism to distract us, even when it comes from within.
Let's live and celebrate each moment of our life. The past is history, the future does not exist, and the present is just that, a gift.
Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len says to me all the time: If you guys would know what happens every time you say "thank you," if you could actually see the transmutation, you would be doing it nonstop. Every "thank you" is paying off debt, a step closer to who we really are, and produces profound results. It works like the domino effect.
Let's be more conscious of our scores. Let's celebrate each moment and say, "Thank you!"
